Open house at new treatment center September 5, 2018 on Health, News ELLSWORTH — On Thursday, Sept. 13, community members are invited to tour the newly opened DownEast Treatment Center in Ellsworth. The DownEast Treatment Center, located at 406 State St. (Suite 2), is a treatment hub offering comprehensive medication-assisted treatment services, for people with substance use conditions. The center’s evidence-based treatment approach employs integrated behavioral health and medication management to help individuals achieve sustained recovery. Administration, clients, staff and partners welcome members of the community to join them in celebrating recovery and National Recovery Month from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sept. 13. The open house event will include an overview of treatment services and an opportunity to connect with members of the center’s treatment team and administrators. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 12:45 p.m. and light snacks and refreshments will be available. For more information, call 667-7171.
