BUCKSPORT — Bucksport Regional Health Center has added two medical providers and one behavioral health provider to its team at the Bucksport location.
“Providing the highest quality of care is our top priority so we are very fortunate to be able to add such talented providers to our team of skilled clinicians,” said Carol Carew, CEO. “We are also very happy to be welcoming new patients. There is no waiting list for services.”
Dr. Craig C. Benson has a bachelor of science degree in biology and completed a family practice internship at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, Tenn. He earned his doctor of osteopathy from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Lewisburg, W.Va. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Medical Association and the American Society Addiction Medicine.
Brandy George, family nurse practitioner, earned her master’s of science in nursing from the University of Vermont, Burlington, and her bachelor’s from Rhode Island College. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner.
Heather Gosselin, licensed clinical social worker, has a bachelor of arts in psychology and a master of social work from the University of Maine. She is a member of Psi Chi and National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She works with adults and children and practices in the Bucksport and Ellsworth locations.
Bucksport Regional Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center and serves all people regardless of insurance coverage or ability to pay. The center provides medical services, dental services (Bucksport only), specialized venous treatment (Ellsworth only) and behavioral health services, as well as offering a sliding-fee scale, prescription assistance, lab work and a variety of health and wellness classes. The center has two locations: 110 Broadway, Bucksport, and 37 Commerce Park, Ellsworth.
