Lesson Learned!



Kelly had another surprise this week.  She shared with me that she had decided on her own to eat fewer calories than I had suggested to see if she could spur more weight loss, only to discover that when you drop your calories too low, you can get very lethargic, perhaps even feel dizziness with hunger. 

She immediately resumed her normal caloric intake and the unpleasant symptoms went away.   She learned that you need a certain amount of calories to maintain energy levels and to be able to function at your best.  Her caloric needs will be reduced as she continues to lose weight, but for now, she is where she needs to be for her body to function optimally.   As she said when she left ““ “lesson learned!”
