Gouldsboro Police log week of August 11

GOULDSBORO — A Gouldsboro woman was treated for shoulder pain, but otherwise appeared unharmed in a two-car collision Sunday at the intersection of Route 1 and Pond Road.

Celeste Mittlehauser, 29, of Gouldsboro was treated for shoulder pain by the Schoodic EMS squad at the scene. The other driver was Orrin Gray, 50, of Eastbrook. He was not reported injured.

Gouldsboro Officer Landan Scott reported Gray, who was driving a blue 2012 Chevrolet, collided with Mittlehauser, who was driving a 2007 Honda Fit. The Honda sustained extensive front-end damage while the Chevrolet had moderate damage on the vehicle’s driver side. Winter Harbor Police and the Gouldsboro and Winter Harbor fire departments assisted at the scene.

Speeding crackdown continues

Last week, Officer Scott, Sgt. Adam Brackett and Chief Pat McNulty monitored traffic in Corea village and on the Pond Road. Several motorists were stopped and the drivers reminded of the posted speed limit and issued warnings.
