GOULDSBORO — Two Milbridge men — Brent Hutchins, 38, and Clifford Seavey, 42 — were arrested Jan. 20 on burglary and theft charges in relation to the burglary of a residence on Timber Cove Road, police said.
Police Chief Paul Gamble said the investigation with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Maine State Police also led to retrieving all of the items stolen from the residence.
“They were spread out between Brewer and Steuben,” Gamble said.
OUI charges
Daniel Cram, 32, of Clinton was arrested and charged Jan. 30 with operating under the influence, police said.
Cram was stopped for erratic driving on Route 1.
Police said Cram also was charged with violating conditions of release, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and was placed on probation hold by his probation officer.
Johna Cram, 30, of Clinton was charged Jan. 31 with operating after suspension after she drove the vehicle away from the scene the day before, police said.
Police said Johna Cram also gave a false name during their investigation.
Shoplifting charges
Police assisted the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Jan. 25 in arresting two people involved in a shoplifting case in Milbridge.
Suicidal woman
Police assisted Hancock County Sheriff’s deputies Jan. 20 in responding to reports of an intoxicated woman in Sullivan armed with a knife and who was believed to be suicidal.
Police said the woman, who lives in Sullivan, was transported to Maine Coast Memorial Hospital for a mental health evaluation.
Domestic incidents
Police responded Jan. 24 to a call about a domestic disturbance on Maxwell Road.
Police determined the incident was a verbal dispute and the man involved was asked to leave for the night until things could calm down.
Hancock County Sheriff’s deputies were on hand as back-up.
On Jan. 27, police were asked to back up state police in responding to a reported domestic incident on Freemont Corner in Sullivan.
Police said state police had the situation under control by the time they arrived.
Violating conditions
Matthew Lafountain, 31, of Sullivan was stopped on Route 1 Jan. 18 and arrested on a charge of violation of conditions of release, police said.
Stolen truck
On Jan. 16, a town resident reported that his silver Ford pickup truck was stolen, police said.
Police said the matter is under investigation.
Hit deer
Daniel Whitaker, 55, of Gouldsboro struck a deer Jan. 28 while traveling northbound on the Guzzle Road, police said.
Police said Whitaker’s 2006 F350 pickup truck sustained minor reportable damage to the front end, but was functional.
Black cat
Police Jan. 19 retrieved a black cat found on Knowles Lane.
Police said the cat was placed in the Hardy’s House shelter for a few nights and then was adopted.
