Geology Talk at Blue Hill Library

BLUE HILL — Local science expert Tony Sohns will be at the Blue Hill Public Library on Saturday, March 14, at 11 a.m., with a special show for kids ages 6 and older.

Titled “Geology Rocks,” the program will be filled with rocks of all kinds — geodes, fossils, gems and more.

Some of the rocks will be cracked open. Others are for learning about history and many will go home with the participants.

Thanks to the Friends of the Library, there is no charge for this program, but because of limited space, reservations are necessary and can be made by calling Nancy at 374-5515.
