TRENTON — The town is continuing to work with the Maine Department of Transportation (MDOT) on the planning of the Acadia Gateway Center project.
“We are encouraged to think that they are listening,” said selectman Jim Cameron at a meeting Tuesday. Since the town began discussions, a number of things that are beneficial to the town have been added to the proposal, he said. Those benefits include improvements to the Hancock County Airport and the traffic light on Route 230. The next meeting between the planning board and MDOT is set for Wednesday, April 15 at the town office.
