Electric vehicle symposium June 2



ELLSWORTH — A Climate to Thrive is hosting an electric vehicle symposium on Saturday, June 2, from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Moore Community Center in Ellsworth.

The symposium will feature speakers discussing all things EV and taking questions from the audience.

A Climate to Thrive is helping to develop a network of publicly accessible charging stations from Belfast to Eastport and supports the adoption of EVs throughout the region.

The event is free and open to the public and will feature an EV panel discussion with Michael Stoddard of Efficiency Maine, Ben Lake of the Greater Portland Council of Governments, Sue Ely of the Natural Resources Council of Maine and Gordon Beck of A Climate to Thrive.

Breakout sessions are scheduled on topics ranging from “EV 101 – the basics of EVs” to building out EV charging infrastructure in eastern Maine and more. There will also be information about the latest EV models and charging stations.
