ELLSWORTH — The Emmaus Homeless Shelter of Ellsworth will hold its Ninth Annual Spring Fest Concert and Auction Sunday, April 27, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
The event will take place at the Ellsworth Elementary-Middle School with a Caribbean meal and entertainment by the Celtic group “Craggy Islanders.”
More than 140 live and silent auction items will be up for bid, including a one week time-share in Orlando over Thanksgiving, four one-day passes to Disney World, two plane tickets from Bar Harbor to Boston, six certificates toward a Windjammer cruise, gift certificates to local restaurants, food, original art, lodging, wellness and services and much more.
Tickets are $30 each and $50 per couple and are available at the shelter or by calling 667-3962. Six friends will fill a table.
The proceeds from the event will allow the Emmaus Shelter to serve the homeless and those in the area who find themselves in need of a helping hand.
