Ellsworth Police Log: Felon charged with possession of gun

ELLSWORTH — A Surry man was charged last week with possessing a gun despite not being allowed to do so.

Gary Goodrich, 20, of Surry, was summoned on charges of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person (Class C) and violation of conditional release (Class E).

Goodrich was charged after police, while investigating a camp burglary that happened in early September, found a .22-caliber rifle being sold at a local pawn dealer.
