Dr. Jennifer Mytar-Li of Surry recently completed the residency program in anesthesiology and critical care medicine at Johns Hopkins Medical School in Baltimore.
Jennifer is a graduate of Ellsworth High School, Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa., and Touro Medical School in Vallejo, Calif. Jennifer and her husband, Dr. Rung-chi Li, along with their son, Henry, are moving to Charlottesville, Va., where she is joining Ablemarie Anesthesiology at Martha Jefferson Hospital.
Jennifer is the daughter of Marc and Mary Anne Mytar of Surry.
Yvonne Rogers of Penobscot was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2018 semester at the University of Rochester in Rochester, N.Y.
Rogers is majoring in political science and jazz studies and contemporary media.
She is studying in the university’s College of Arts, Sciences and Engineering as well as in the Eastman School of Music.
Lorna Stephens of Blue Hill recently graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wis.
Stephens earned Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Music degrees magna cum laude in history and voice performance, respectively. She also was elected to Lawrence’s chapter of Pi Kappa Lambda, a national honor society that recognizes students for exceptional musical and scholastic achievements.
