ELLSWORTH — Ellsworth High School’s Class of 2009 will celebrate graduation June 12 with an all-night, chaperoned, chemical-free party at EHS.
Hosting the party at the school ensures students will be safe on graduation night, according to organizers.
Festivities will begin immediately following graduation and include laser tag and international cuisine. A popular local disc jockey will provide the music. Prizes will be awarded to all seniors who attend. Students will have the opportunity to win tickets for a larger prize while visiting the casino that will be set up in the cafeteria.
The night will end with a breakfast served up by students’ parents.
Project Graduation is a national event hosted by parents, businesses and community members.
An informational meeting for anyone willing to help will be held on April 29 at 6 p.m. in the EHS library.
