To honor graduates of the Class of 2021, an awards night, a parade and Class Night and graduation will be held on school premises. The festivities kick off on Saturday, May 29, with the prom, held under the tent in the junior parking lot starting at 7 p.m.
Hancock County Technical Center awards will be presented on June 2 at 6:30 p.m., under the tent.
A senior graduation parade on June 3, starting in the T.J. Maxx parking lot at 5:30 p.m. and moving down High Street, Main Street and State Street, will end at the junior parking lot. There, Class Night will be held under the tent. Each graduate may invite two guests to Class Night.
June 4 is the last day of classes for all seniors.
Finally, June 11 will bring graduation to Del Luce stadium at 6 p.m., with a rain date of June 12. Each graduate may invite up to eight guests, by reserving tickets at the EHS main office (667-4722) by June 4. Seating in the stadium will be by “family pods,” with parking at the middle school and EHS parking lots and behind the Mill Mall.
All current Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines will be maintained. The graduation ceremony will also be streamed on the EHS YouTube channel.
