Eleven inducted into EHS Hall of Fame

ELLSWORTH — Eleven Ellsworth High School graduates were inducted into the school’s Academic Hall of Fame at a dinner on Oct. 13, including state Rep. Louie Luchini (D-Ellsworth) and District Attorney Matt Foster.

Also honored during the dinner were graduates Michael Povich, Malen Hsu, Sue Shaw, Chris Lynch, Albert Harmon, Ann LaCasce, Becky Sargent, Matt Povich and Dale Higgins.

The honorees are chosen for their accomplishments after graduation. This year’s class, the second in the history of the program, includes several lawyers and teachers, a business owner, a photographer, a musician, a physician and a physicist.
