ELLSWORTH — Avid shoppers looking for a treasure, a bargain or a handmade gift could do worse than the tennis courts at the Ramada Inn this weekend.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Proceeds from the table rentals and $1 admission will benefit Newspapers in Education.
The James Russell Wiggins Down East Family YMCA gymnastics team will be fund raising through the sale of breakfast pastries as well as chili, soup and sandwiches for lunch.
High school students will be selling birdhouses they decorated to benefit a Habitat for Humanity house construction project on Boggy Brook Road.
EA Circulation Manager Deborah Tucker is organizing the sale and said every table has been filled and many of the vendors are repeat customers.
Tucker said the craft items range from jewelry, doll clothing, dog clothing, purses and hand-knit goods to artwork, marshmallow shooters, bags, scarves, blankets, greeting cards and a self-published novel.
The used items include an assortment of antiques, other furniture and practical home goods.
The vendors who registered are from Hancock, Washington and Penobscot counties, Tucker said.
