WINTER HARBOR — On Oct. 23, police responded to a complaint of gunshots on Grindstone Court.
It was determined that the individual was conducting target practice, but in a safe direction and using a suitable backstop.
Bail check
On Oct. 25, police attempted to conduct a bail check on a Winter Harbor resident, but could not locate the individual.
A second check for the individual on Grindstone Avenue did not prove fruitful and the matter was referred to the Hancock County District Attorney’s Office.
No charges have been filed at this time.
Well-being check
On Oct. 30, police responded to a well-being call on the Cranberry Point Road in Gouldsboro. The man in question was found to be safe and sound at his residence.
