Winter Harbor Police log week of December 2



WINTER HARBOR — A local caretaker reported Nov. 23 that a seasonal property had been entered. Nothing was stolen.
Police Chief Danny Mitchell Jr. checked on a property on Grindstone Avenue Nov. 24 after suspicious circumstances were noted the day before. All was clear at the time.
Medical calls
Winter Harbor police assisted Schoodic EMS on Nov. 23 at a Main Street residence for a person who had fallen. The individual was transported to Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital in Ellsworth.
State police asked Winter Harbor police to respond to a person in Gouldsboro who was in distress Nov. 23. The person was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Gouldsboro police assisted.
Motor vehicle accident
Officer Eli Brown responded to a motor vehicle accident Nov. 24. A driver operating a 2021 Kia Sportage struck a 2002 Ford Focus while making a left turn into a driveway. The Focus sustained damage to the driver’s door and was towed due to an expired inspection sticker. The Sportage sustained damage to the front, left fender area.
