Winter Harbor Police Log Week of Dec. 20



WINTER HARBOR — On Dec. 3, Winter Harbor police responded to a complaint of a vehicle at the Winter Harbor town pier that had no registration or inspection sticker displayed.

As a result of further investigation, the owner of the vehicle, Cory McMillan, 24, of Lamoine, was arrested and charged with violation of conditions of release and illegal attachment of registration plate.

On Dec. 11, Winter Harbor police responded to a report of two women fighting in the parking lot of 20 School St. The incident was determined to be a verbal dispute and the responding officer defused the situation and advised both parties to have no further contact with each other.

On Dec. 12, Winter Harbor police responded to a crash involving a commercial delivery vehicle and a passenger car on Main Street. There was minor property damage, but no injuries.

On Dec. 15, Winter Harbor police were advised to watch for a black 2005 Toyota Highlander that was driving erratically in Sullivan. Winter Harbor police located the vehicle and stopped it. It was determined that the driver was tired and falling asleep at the wheel. The responding officer warned the driver of the perils of driving while tired and the driver advised that she was almost home but would pull over to rest.
