WINTER HARBOR — On Aug. 7, Winter Harbor Police assisted Maine State Police in responding to a disorderly conduct complaint related to a family dispute.
Jeffrey Ross, 58, of Summerfield, Fla., was arrested on two warrants.
Disorderly conduct
On Aug. 9, police responded to a disturbance at Chase’s Restaurant on Main Street.
An altercation occurred when a disruptive employee was asked to leave. Police met with the employee and restaurant staff, and the employee agreed to not return to the restaurant.
Bone found
On Aug. 11, a man attending the Winter Harbor Lobster Festival reported to police that he had found what he feared was a human bone on a nearby beach.
Police responded to the area and determined that it was a deer bone.
Alarms
On Aug. 13, police responded to a carbon monoxide alarm at the Winter Harbor town office.
The building was unoccupied, but the alarm was silenced by the Winter Harbor Fire Department.
