Vehicles totaled, minor injuries in head-on collision

TOWNSHIP 22 — Only minor injuries were reported in a head-on collision Sunday on Route 9 near the Airline Snack Bar.

Hancock County Sheriff’s Deputy Rob Morang reported Timothy Roberts, 44, of Salt Springs, Nova Scotia, Canada, was making a left turn into a driveway when his 2007 Volkswagen collided with an oncoming 2012 Dodge driven by Danny Bird, 63, of Kedgwick River, New Brunswick, Canada.

Both vehicles are considered total losses as a result of the crash.
