ELLSWORTH — The Maine State Police have charged a Sullivan man with manslaughter in connection with an accident that claimed the life of John-Michael Boucar, 33, also of Sullivan.
Boucar was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Jason Andrews, 26, which crashed on the Tunk Lake Road in Sullivan on April 14.
In addition to manslaughter, Trooper Blaine Silk has also charged Andrews with criminal speeding, criminal operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant, reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and driving to endanger.
Andrews has retained Bangor attorney Hunter Tzovarras to represent him.
