Shooting death investigation continuing

BLUE HILL — The Maine State Police are continuing to investigate a shooting death that occurred here this past spring.

Joshua Clarke was shot and killed in his Ellsworth Road driveway on March 22.

Clarke was 31.

As of July 22, no one has been charged.

“It is still an active investigation and we don’t have information we can release at this time,” said Katy England, social media coordinator for the Maine Department of Public Safety.

Four months ago, when the shooting occurred, spokesman Steve McCausland, who has since retired, said police had identified and interviewed a suspect.
