Search continues for Blue Hill woman

BLUE HILL — The Maine State Police and the Maine Warden Service are continuing their efforts to find Jessica Grindle, 37, of Blue Hill who has not been seen since July 23.

“She was reported missing last week,” Steve McCausland, public safety spokesman, reported Thursday.

“Investigators have received some tips after the state police first appealed to the public for help last week.

“Several searches have also taken place on and near two ponds in the area,” said McCausland. Investigators searched First Pond, also known as Billings Pond in Blue Hill and Frost Pond in Sedgwick.

Grindle is 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and has blue eyes and brown hair.   Anyone with information on Grindle is asked to call the state police at 207-973-3700.
