Police Say Teens Vandalized Library Outlet To Charge Cell Phones

ELLSWORTH — Two 17-year-old boys have been charged with criminal mischief after allegedly vandalizing a locked electrical outlet at the library.

Detective Dotty Small said the teenagers, one from Ellsworth and one from Eastbrook, forced the outlet open so they could charge their cell phones.

Small said the outlet had also been vandalized earlier this month.

Estimated damage was $25.
