Orland Man Found Not Guilty of Aggravated Animal Cruelty



ELLSWORTH — An Orland man charged with aggravated animal cruelty was found not guilty after a jury trial Sept. 15.

Stonington attorney John Steed represented William Comtois. He was accused of kicking a puppy.

“Mr. Comtois has always maintained his innocence and we are pleased with the jury’s unanimous verdict,” Steed said.
