ELLSWORTH — A Christian Ridge Road resident called police around 1:10 a.m. on Nov. 17 to report hearing two very loud “bangs,” and wondered if someone might be night hunting in the field across the street.
Two officers responded, and while they found plenty of deer in the field, they found no evidence of night hunting.
The complainant was advised to call back, though, if she heard more noises or saw a vehicle near the field.
