ELLSWORTH — Police charged a 14-year-old Mariaville girl with assault Oct. 17.
The girl allegedly grabbed another girl at Ellsworth High School.
Detective Dottie Small said it was a case of high school girls fighting over a boy. The incident started with threats made over Facebook and escalated over the school day, Small said.
