Charlotte man charged with OUI

MACHIAS — The Maine State Police arrested a Charlotte man for alleged impaired driving on Sunday.

Trooper Keith York arrested Michael Solomon, 79, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant after getting a complaint about Solomon’s driving in Pembroke. Cpl. Micah Perkins assisted.

More arrests

Trooper Miles Carpenter arrested Judson Trott, 37, of Perry on charges of operating after revocation and violating conditions of release Saturday.

Criminal mischief

Perkins is investigating a complaint about a field that was damaged by a vehicle Sunday.

Summonses

Sgt. Jeff Ingemi summoned Cacey Thibodeau, 21, of Alabama on a charge of operating without a license after a traffic stop in Marshfield Friday. Police said Thibodeau’s license in Alabama is currently under suspension.

Thefts

Trooper Blaine Silk is investigating a burglary in Township 37 in which a generator and tools were taken.

Trooper Kim Sawyer is investigating a theft reported Aug. 6 in Danforth. A sled and other items are missing.

Registration plates were reported stolen from a vehicle in Roque Bluffs Aug. 7. York is investigating.
