Maine State Police: Troopers Deal With Man Trying to “End it”

ELLSWORTH — Maine State Police Troopers Cliff Peterson and Dan Ryan were sent to Route 1 in Orland to investigate a report that a man was jumping in front of moving vehicles.


The jumping man advised the troopers he was trying to “end it.” They took the man to Eastern Maine Medical Center for an evaluation.


A Stonington business was burglarized and items damaged on Sept. 21.


Thieves stole two kayaks from Surry.

Arrests and Summonses

Gregory Burrill, 26, Sullivan, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant, operating after suspension, violating conditions of his release.
