Maine State Police Log Week of Sept. 13



ELLSWORTH — On Sept. 4, Maine State Police Trooper Shaunna Beaudoin arrested an Otis man who allegedly fired a gun across a public way several times, including shortly before and after a school bus was in the area.

Beaudoin arrested James Soucy, 53, on charges of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon. Police summoned Soucy on a charge of unlawful shooting or discharge of a firearm.

Cpl. Dan Ryan and Trooper Travis Chapman assisted.

Criminal mischief

Trooper Caleb McGary responded to a criminal mischief complaint in Dedham last week, where it was reported that a shed was damaged.
