Catalytic converters stolen in Blue Hill

ELLSWORTH The Maine State Police are investigating a theft of several catalytic converters from a property in Blue Hill. The thefts were reported April 28. Trooper Owen Reed is handling the case.


Trooper Travis Chapman stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 1 in Orland April 29. As a result of the roadside investigation, Joshua Pomeroy, 31, of Stockton Springs was summoned on a charge of possession of heroin, police said.

Trooper Kim Sawyer summoned Tiffany Bowen, 33, of Pembroke on a charge of operating without a license in Calais April 29.

Reed summoned Zachariah McCarthy, 26, of Penobscot on a charge of operating after suspension in Penobscot Sunday.
