Maine State Police Log Week of May 16

ELLSWORTH — The Maine State Police summoned three people after traffic stops in Castine and Dedham and an accident in Brooksville during the past week.

Trooper Owen Reed summoned David Lawry, 37, of Orland on a charge of operating after revocation May 6 in Castine.

Drug possession

Trooper Caleb McGary summoned Kayla Black, 25, of Lincoln on a charge of heroin possession after a traffic stop in Dedham May 8. Sgt. Barry Meserve and his police dog assisted along with Trooper Taylor Bagley.


Reed summoned Robert Gallway, 75, of Brooksville on a charge of failure to report a crash by quickest means on May 8. The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
