Tools stolen in Franklin

ELLSWORTH The Maine State Police are investigating a theft of tools from a garage in Franklin. The incident was reported Friday.


Troopers say a Franklin man suffered multiple injuries after he was ejected from a car he was driving June 1 on Georges Pond Road in Franklin.

Trooper Owen Reed said Ronald Ryder, 52, was not wearing his seat belt. Ryder was transported to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center.

Ryder was driving a 2007 Chrysler, which left the right side of the road and rolled multiple times before coming to rest on the lawn of a nearby residence, the trooper said.


Trooper Kim Sawyer summoned Roger Terry, 44, of Baileyville on a charge of operating after suspension after a traffic stop in Baring June 2.

Sgt. Jeff Ingemi summoned Thomas Knight, 41, of Cherryfield on a charge of operating after suspension after a traffic stop in Jonesport June 3.
