Surry woman arrested on OUI charge

ELLSWORTH — The Maine State Police arrested a Surry woman for alleged impaired driving Sunday in Stonington.

Trooper Owen Reed arrested Chelsea Curtis, 28, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant.

Trooper Caleb McGary assisted.

More arrests

A theft that was reported in Bass Harbor Saturday led to the arrest of a Trenton woman.

Trooper Gavin Endre arrested Jessica Evangelista, 42, on charges of theft, violating conditions of her release and refusing to submit to arrest.

Trooper Travis Chapman is investigating a complaint of theft from a motor vehicle parked in Blue Hill Friday. The items taken include a bag of jewelry, a pair of shoes, two pairs of headphones and a flotation device.
