ELLSWORTH — The Maine State Police arrested a Blue Hill man who was armed with a knife at a Blue Hill residence March 23.
When Trooper Blaine Silk arrived, the man became “disorderly” with Silk, who was trying to get the man’s knife, police said.
Zachary Phelon, 37, was charged with refusing to submit to detention.
Troopers Travis Chapman and Josh Lander assisted.
Found property
A passer-by found a bicycle on the Sullivan side of the Hancock-Sullivan Bridge March 24. The bike is a Mongoose BMX style, police said.
Theft
Trooper Gavin Endre is investigating the theft of catalytic converters from a Franklin property March 26.
A Glock 40 long barrel firearm was reported missing from a Franklin residence on Saturday. Trooper Andy Foss is investigating.
Criminal mischief
Vehicles were damaged in Hancock Saturday. Foss is investigating.
Burglary
Trooper Kim Sawyer received a report that an unoccupied home in Danforth had been broken into Saturday. There are no suspects.
