ELLSWORTH — The Maine State Police made a number of traffic stops in recent days that resulted in arrests and summonses.
Trooper Owen Reed arrested Hunter Sechrist, 20, of Charleston, S.C., on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant after a traffic stop in Castine Saturday.
Also, in Castine Saturday, Reed summoned Lawrence Meaney, 29, of Castine on a charge of operating after suspension.
Sgt. Tim Varney arrested Leslie Ricker, 57, of Seal Harbor on a charge of OUI on Route 1A in Ellsworth April 3.
Trooper Gavin Endre summoned Ryan Grover, 25, of Steuben on a charge of operating after suspension April 3 in Steuben.
Trooper Dana Austin arrested Christopher Lemoine, 33, of Swan’s Island on a charge of drug furnishing and drug possession during a stop on the Main Road in Dedham April 2. Austin arrested a passenger in the vehicle, Sierra Grendell, 26, of Trenton, on a charge of violating conditions of release. Trooper Caleb McGary assisted with the stop.
