MACHIAS — The Maine State Police made an impaired driving arrest on Aug. 1.
Trooper Kim Sawyer arrested Rebekah Clark, 23, of Calais on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant after an accident in Alexander.
Trooper Dana Austin arrested Samantha Polchies, 30, of Sullivan on a charge of violating conditions of release on Route 1 in Milbridge Friday.
Trooper Keith York is investigating two separate thefts in the town of Perry that were reported Aug. 1. Prescription medications were taken from a residence. Gas was stolen from a service station.
Repeated 911 calls from a Lubec residence, which was not experiencing an emergency, led to arrest for the caller July 25, the Maine State Police reported.
York and Sgt. Jeff Ingemi arrested Carl Hatch, 65, on a charge of violating conditions of his release. Police said Hatch had been consuming alcohol in violation of his bail.
Trooper Gavin Endre is investigating a drive-off at a Jonesport gas station that occurred July 24.
In Machias July 25, York summoned Austin Berry, 20, of Machias on charges of displaying the driver’s license of another as his own and possession of alcohol by a minor. Ingemi assisted.
York summoned Christopher Trott, 20, of Lubec on charge of possession of alcohol by a minor July 23 in Lubec. Cpl. Micah Perkins and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
Perkins arrested Jason Levasseur, 43, of Mount Desert on charges of possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of scheduled drugs July 24 in Danforth. Perkins had been responding to a trespassing complaint. Cpl. Dennis Quint assisted.
A vehicle struck a retaining wall at the Harrington Health Center July 24 then drove away, police said.
Damage is “substantial,” police reported. Endre is investigating.
