Maine State Police: Bucksport Man Arrested on Terrorizing, Bail Violation Charges

ELLSWORTH — A Bucksport man was arrested after he allegedly threatened to punch an Orland man and kick his teeth in Sunday, the Maine State Police reported.


Trooper Greg Roy arrested Evan Goodine, 18, on charges of terrorizing and violating conditions of release.

Goodine had bail conditions not to commit any new criminal acts from a pending attempted burglary case, police said.

Internet Harassment

A Maine State Police trooper warned two women about harassing each other on Facebook after one of the women, who is from Franklin, complained to police about the other. Police said the issue appears to stem from the women both dating the same man.

Police are investigating a burglary at an Amherst residence in which coins were reported stolen.

Criminal Mischief

Vandals slashed tires and smashed a windshield on a vehicle in Steuben Feb. 6. Troopers gathered evidence and have suspects.

Someone used a BB gun to shoot out a rear window of a Jeep Grand Cherokee in Castine Feb. 10.

Arrests and Summonses

Brian Leighton, 37, Blue Hill, protection order violation.

Scott Trundy, 21, Sorrento, forgery and theft.

Daniel M. Faulkingham, 30, Gouldsboro, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant.

Raymond Hogan, 45, Orland, OUI, violating conditions of his release and operating after habitual offender revocation.
