ELLSWORTH — Hancock County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a theft of a large amount of cash from a Verona Island residence.
The cash had been stored inside a locked filing cabinet, police said. The theft was reported Saturday.
A boy, 17, was threatening to jump off the bridge in Verona Island Saturday. A deputy took him into custody for a mental health evaluation.
Casey C. Holt, 28, Sullivan, turned himself in on warrants.
