ELLSWORTH — After an extensive search that led police to the state of Virginia, Jamie Cox, 36, of Gouldsboro was arrested Friday morning by U.S. marshals, state police report.
Cox was indicted in April by a Hancock County grand jury on three felony (Class C) counts of sexual abuse of a minor. The alleged abuse had taken place in Sedgwick. Cox fled Maine after being indicted.
The marshals acted on a request made by the Maine State Police-Major Crimes Unit North.
