GOULDSBORO — Jenny Reese, 33, of West Bay Road was summoned Aug. 1 for allegedly bouncing checks at Mc’s Marketplace in the village of Birch Harbor, police said.
Police were alerted Aug. 10 to a conversation overheard on OnStar, a motor vehicle navigation system, which led them to Main Street in Prospect Harbor.
Police said the call turned out to have been made by children and their mother said all was fine.
Police assisted with a domestic incident Aug. 9 in Steuben, police said.
A 68-year-old woman on the Chicken Mill Road caught three kittens and one cat, police said.
Police said the animals were turned over to the SPCA in Trenton Aug. 4.
Elizabeth Vandewater of Lansdale, Pa., was summoned for speeding Aug. 2 on Route 186. Police said she was driving 44 mph in a 25-mph zone.
Jeffrey Howard of Milbridge was summoned for speeding Aug. 17 on Route 1. Police said Howard was driving 72 mph in a 55-mph zone.
Amy King of Otis was summoned for speeding Aug. 24 on Route 186. Police said King was driving 54 mph in a 35-mph zone.
James Graves of Pataskala, Ohio, was summoned Aug. 24 for speeding. Police said he was driving 54 mph in a 35-mph zone on Route 186.
Jason Lord of Addison was summoned Aug. 9 on Route 1 on a charge of driving without an updated inspection sticker, police said.
Janice Snoke of Sullivan was summoned Aug. 14 on Route 1 on a charge of driving without insurance.
Owen Fickett of Cherryfield was summoned on Route 186 Aug. 25 on a charge of driving without insurance, police said.
