Gouldsboro Police Log Week of Sept. 6

GOULDSBORO — On Aug. 22, Gouldsboro police responded to an unattended death at Maine Fair Trade Lobster.

Schoodic Ambulance Services, upon arrival, pronounced 49-year-old Carlos Alberto Medina-Medina deceased.

The death has not been determined to be suspicious, and the Gouldsboro Police Department is working with the Maine Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death.


Christine Boyd-Waxer, 51, of Steuben was arrested Aug. 16 on a charge of violating a protection order stemming from an incident that occurred at Bunker’s Wharf Restaurant.

On Aug. 23, Michael Daniel, 27, of Gouldsboro was arrested at the Gouldsboro Police Department and charged with domestic violence assault.

The arrest followed an interview with Daniel stemming from an interview begun earlier in the day.


On Aug. 24, Eric Peltier, 32, of Sullivan was summoned following a traffic stop on Main Street. Pelter was charged with operating with a suspended registration and failure to notify law enforcement of a firearm.


On Aug. 22, Gouldsboro police located a property on Corea Road that had been burglarized. The investigation is ongoing.
