Dedham woman indicted on drug charges



ELLSWORTH — A Hancock County grand jury Aug. 8 indicted a Dedham woman on drug trafficking charges after she and her boyfriend were reportedly found with $50,000 worth of heroin in their car and home last February.

Savanna Adams, 21, was indicted on two counts of aggravated drug trafficking and one count of unlawful drug trafficking Feb. 13 in Ellsworth.

Adams also was indicted on one count of violating conditions of her release May 8-13 in Ellsworth, violating conditions of her release May 17 in Ellsworth and two counts violating conditions of her release May 2 in Hancock.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency’s Down East division said the heroin, with a street value of more than $50,000, was destined for retail sale in Hancock and Washington counties.

The grand jury also indicted the following:

Anthony Acampora, 36, Gouldsboro, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer Dec. 18, 2018, in Ellsworth; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and theft by deception Jan. 26 in Hancock.

Kaleem Adnan, 30, Bucksport, aggravated forgery and violating conditions of his release Aug. 10, 2018, in Ellsworth.

Susan Boucher, 62, Augusta, unlawful drug trafficking Feb. 7 in Ellsworth.

Corey Brazier, 50, Bangor, criminal operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant, operating after suspension, operating beyond license conditions and violating conditions of his release Feb. 8 in Bucksport.

Malcolm Dow Jr., 54, Bar Harbor, two counts aggravated drug trafficking, two counts unlawful drug trafficking and four counts unlawful drug possession Sept. 18, 2018, in Ellsworth and Nov. 15, 2018, in Dedham.

Zachary Eccleston, 23, Bar Harbor, burglary, receiving stolen property and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer April 14 and June 1 in Bar Harbor.

Michael Ireland, 55, Ellsworth, two counts of terrorizing and one count harassment by telephone April 5 in Ellsworth.

Leon Jacobs, 46, Southwest Harbor, aggravated criminal mischief Jan. 27 in Southwest Harbor.

Todd Lear, 47, Trenton, three counts violating conditions of release Dec. 8, 2018, in Southwest Harbor.

Katie O’Donnell, 22, Hancock, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, misuse of identification and operating without a license Feb. 14 in Ellsworth.

Aaron Pert, 38, Southwest Harbor, aggravated assault, domestic violence assault May 27 in Southwest Harbor.

Jeffrey Spruill, 47, Sedgwick, two counts unlawful drug trafficking and two counts unlawful drug possession Dec. 12, 2018, and Jan. 10, 2019, in Surry.

Jason Sherwood, 43, Sedgwick, two counts unlawful drug trafficking June 18, 2018, in Stonington and July 16, 2018, in Sedgwick.

Nicholas Wood, 22, Stonington, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer April 8, 2018, in Penobscot; aggravated criminal mischief, molesting lobster gear, violating conditions of his release and conspiracy to commit Aug. 21, 2018, in Castine.
