Bucksport Police week of Feb. 27

BUCKSPORT — Police and emergency personnel were called to help Feb. 20 after a dog bit the face of a 10-year-old boy. Information on the boy’s condition was not available.

Child neglect

Officer Gerald Lowe took a complaint from a concerned citizen Feb. 17 about a child who may be neglected.

Arrests

Officer Ernest Fitch arrested Dustin Smith, 28, of Bucksport on a bail violation charge Friday.

Lowe arrested Nicole Hutchinson, 46, of Orland on a warrant Feb. 19.

On Feb. 20, Officer Matt Schmidt arrested Aza Jerome Vasylyk, 56, of Bucksport on a charge of failure to appear.

Summonses

Lucas Seavey, 18, of Bucksport was summoned on a charge of violating conditions of his release Friday.

Heather Dostie, 46, of Stockton Springs was summoned on a charge of improper cell phone use Feb. 17.

Speeding

Lowe charged Joshua Murray, 30, of Bangor with speeding Saturday.
