BUCKSPORT — Police arrested two Route 46 residents Oct. 6 after investigating a report of domestic violence.
Police arrested Kayla White, 20, of Bucksport on a charge of domestic violence assault.
Deputy Police Chief David Winchester said officers later went back to the residence and arrested Sean McGinn, 21, also of Bucksport, on a charge of aggravated assault, which is a Class B offense.
“Due to the nature of the assault, it elevated it [the charge] to felony status,” Winchester said.
More arrests
Officer Chris Woodman arrested John B. Renchen Sr., 45, of Bucksport on a charge of operating after suspension Oct. 7. The officer summoned John F. Renchen Jr., 26, of Bucksport on a charge of permitting unlawful use.
Officer Robert Findlay arrested Jacob Lapoint, 35, of Bucksport on a warrant Friday.
David Siembab, 45, of Bucksport was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant and refusing to submit to arrest Friday.
Summonses
Officer Eric Marcel summoned David Hamilton, 51, of Dedham on a charge of speeding Oct. 5.
Officer Matt Schmidt summoned Ronald Weed, 36, of Brooksville on a charge of speeding Saturday.
Jeffrey Todd, 54, of Belmont was summoned on a charge of operating after suspension Saturday.
Citizen assist
Officers provided traffic control for a Black Lives Matter demonstration Oct. 5.
Animal problem
A man complained Oct. 6 that a neighbor’s chickens keep coming into his yard.
