Bucksport Police log week of Oct. 10

BUCKSPORT — A concerned citizen called police to report seeing youths vaping after school last Friday.

Officer Matt Schmidt handled the call.

Animal problems

A man notified police Friday that he had struck and killed chickens and that there were still carcasses in the roadway.

Officer Ryan Welch was sent to handle the matter.

A woman advised police that her neighbor’s dog had killed one of her chickens on Saturday.


Officer Ryan Welch arrested Carlos Davis, 22, of Bucksport on a warrant charging unpaid fines Friday.

On Friday, Welch arrested Brandon Ashby, 37, of Searsport on a warrant charging unpaid fines.


A resident reported losing tools on Sunday.
