Bucksport Police Log Week of May 24

BUCKSPORT — The Bucksport Police are investigating multiple cases of fraud this week involving identify theft.

The cases included someone using a Bucksport man’s name to file income taxes.

A Bucksport woman reported that her sister used her name to take out a loan.

Arrests

Officer Ryan Welch arrested Mary Wark, 41, of Ellsworth on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant Friday. Wark was bailed from the police station.

Summonses

Officer Robert Findlay summoned Russell Saunders, 51, of Bucksport on a charge of assault Friday.

Officer Gerald Lowe summoned Lorrie Gray, 57, of Dedham on a charge of operating after suspension May 14.

Lowe summoned Brianna Soucy, 25, of Fort Kent on a charge of speeding 64 mph in a 45-mph zone May 13.

Officer Matt Schmidt summoned Christopher Maguire, 29, of Orland on a seat belt violation May 14.
