Bucksport Police Log Week of May 17

BUCKSPORT — Police are investigating an assault case that was referred to the department from the Hancock County District Attorney’s Office.

Underage drinking

Police took two reports of underage drinking parties a few hours apart on Friday but both were unfounded, Officer Chris Woodman said.


Officer Ryan Knight took a report of a child who had run away on May 9. The child has run away previously.


Officer Matt Schmidt summoned Erika Bramhall, 21, of West Rockport on a charge of operating after suspension May 9.

Officer Gerald Lowe summoned Liza Haskell, 39, of Orland on a charge of speeding Saturday. Haskell had allegedly been traveling 74 mph in a 45-mph zone.

Lowe summoned Jakob Emerson, 22, of Ellsworth on a charge of speeding for allegedly traveling 74 mph in a 45-mph zone on Saturday.

Lost and found

A concerned citizen turned in a debit card he found last week.

A Chevrolet key was also turned in.
