Bucksport Police Log Week of March 21



BUCKSPORT — A woman called police March 13 to help a Bucksport High School student who she said was suicidal.

Officer Matt Schmidt responded. Sgt. David Winchester said police involvement was minimal. The student’s parents were called.

Truancy

School Resource Officer Eric Marcel checked on a truant student March 13. The student was found to be OK.

Unattended death

Officer Robert Findlay investigated an unattended death March 13. An older man had been shoveling snow and sat down in his car to take a break and died, Winchester said. His wife found him.

Summonses

Police summoned Richard Burrill, 33, of Bangor on a charge of operating after suspension March 12.

On Sunday, Schmidt summoned Erik Pfatt, 44, of Auburn on a charge of littering.

Police summoned Sandra Bock, 18, of Frankfort on a charge of operating after suspension Sunday.

Agency assist

Marcel provided a Maine Department of Health and Human Services worker with an escort to a residence March 12.
