Bucksport Police log week of January 13

BUCKSPORT — School Resource Officer Chris McCrillis is investigating an alleged sexual offense between a teenage boy and a teenage girl. The incident was reported Jan. 5.


Officer Robert Findlay is investigating a theft of checks from a Route 1 business. The theft could potentially involve several thousand dollars in stolen funds, said Deputy Police Chief David Winchester.

A thief absconded with four dozen home-grown eggs and the table the eggs were being sold on. The theft was reported Jan. 6.

Officers helped the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office with responding to a domestic incident in Orland Jan. 5.

Stephen Hellwege, 32, of Delaware was summoned on a charge of operating without a license on Jan. 6.

Officer Tyler Adams summoned Luis Mauser, 25, of Belfast on a charge of speeding 74 miles per hour in a 45-mph zone on Jan. 6.

Maxfield Rhine, 18, of Blue Hill was summoned on a charge of speeding 74 miles per hour in a 45-mph zone on Jan. 6.
